Having gone through divor...Very good stuff Michael. Having gone through divorce, I truly appreciate your response to the "inevitable". This was the only thing that helped me get through my divorce. Don't get me wrong, I made mistakes in the marriage, but between emotional abuse and being the only person working on the relationship, it did seem inevitable. The struggle for me that kept me trying was my fear of how God would see me if I quit on the marriage. After all, I had said til death do us part in this holy union and it was witnessed by family and friends. It was my pastor that said almost the same words you just shared and explaining that God wants to bless me and does not want me to be in pain. I cherished those words and I know that there is someone out there right now that needed to hear (read) them. So for them, I say thank you!
